Zenbev Retailer Focus :

april 30, 2020

At Zenbev, we like to keep in touch with our retailers and distributors. This month, we caught up with Simon Lindroos at Lindroos Hälsa in Örebro, Sweden.

Zenbev asks: How long have you been in business?
Simon: My grandfather started our company 75 years ago and it has been in the family since. My father Mats has been running the company for around 30 years now.

ZA: What drew you to the natural foods industry?
Simon: Since my grandfather and dad have been in the business, it was quite natural for me to step in the same direction. Personally I think it’s cool to understand how much of the body you are in control of and that you can take care of your health in a natural way.

ZA: What is your favourite part of working natural foods / natural health products?
Simon: To show and get people to understand that they can take actions on their own and start taking charge of their health. It’s such a nice thing to have our own company, so that we can choose to only work with products that are the best of the best.

ZA: Do you have a favourite product?
Simon: We represent a chocolate from Austria, Zotter Chocolate, that is one my favourite products. It’s an organic, fair-trade and bean-to-bar producer of high quality chocolate made in Austria with cocoa beans from all over the world.

ZA: How long have you been stocking Zenbev and what do you like about it?
Simon: I think we have been selling Zenbev for around 3 or 4 years now. It is an extremely interesting product and it is almost too good to be true. It really helps improve people’s quality of life by improving their quality of sleep. If only people knew how good they would feel when Zenbev starts to work for them!

ZA: What changes do you foresee in the natural foods/ natural health products industry over the next 12 months?
Simon: The vegan trend is huge for the moment and the no-sugar added trend is following alongside. My personal hope is that natural health products can create a new standard for people’s living and make people more conscious of the differences of processed food and natural health food.

ZA: Do you have a favourite health food??
Simon: I love everything that comes from coconuts. Oil, cream, flakes, milk. I love the taste and the healthy benefits from eating coconuts!

ZA: What book are you reading right now?
Simon: I am reading “The Diabetes Code” by Dr. Jason Fung, about how to prevent and reverse Type 2 Diabetes naturally.

ZA: What is your town’s claim to fame? Do you have a favourite local activity?
Simon: I am from a town called Örebro in the middle of Sweden. It’s an old town that through history has been mostly known for exporting two things from Sweden, shoes and biscuits. But nowadays the production is gone and so is the fame of Örebro ????.

ZA: Finally, do you have a favourite tip or trick to help with insomnia or to help you fall asleep?
Simon: Turn off the iPhone and read a book, works every time! Especially if the book isn’t that great!????
